Description
Cross pin (spider) of the KAMAZ rear-axle inter-wheel differential, bare. The differential pinions mount on its trunnions, and the cross pin itself is clamped between the differential cases. It is made from high-strength wear-resistant steel, case-hardened to a depth of up to 1.2 mm reaching 62 HRC; guaranteed service life is 350,000 km. Weight approximately 1.79 kg, overall dimensions about 194×194×34 mm.
